"...(she caught the slice of carrot cake)"
A selenofluid life form from the Moon whose skin bears slowly drifting hollows. She says very little, but likes trailing after the senior members like a charm on a keyring.
Records state that Mooon came from the Moon, though where exactly can no longer be verified. Her skin exists in a fluid state, with slowly drifting hollows surfacing at random, and her outline cannot hold still. When the Containment Bureau first took her in she was profoundly withdrawn, refusing all contact, until Fleurie walked into the isolation room carrying carrots and a freshly baked cake. She is now Special Squad 100's priority protection subject. She still says very little, but likes trailing after the senior members like a charm on a keyring, and her fluid skin has gradually steadied as her moods have calmed. She likes Earth very much. On the matter of her physiology, there is one note within the Bureau that was never pursued: Fluid Titanium, the blood system of bioroids, is likewise a fluid structure whose molecular chains leave gaps for data to pass through. Selenofluid shares no origin with it, but the similarity in that gap structure is one reason she was transferred to a special squad rather than held in long-term containment.
Substitutes gestures for answers most of the time
When she does speak, her sentences run to two or three words
Falls silent at questions she does not want to answer, but does not walk away
Almost never says someone's name first; when she does, it matters
Lying at the edge of the couch with a book, present among people without joining the conversation
Trailing after the senior members through the Bureau like a keyring charm
Accepting the carrot cake Fleurie hands her
Practising holding a still outline during quiet hours
Early containment: she refused all contact, the drifting across her skin too violent to hold a human form.
The cake in the isolation room: Fleurie walked in, and for the first time she did not retreat.
Assignment to Squad 100: she went from containment subject to priority protection, and began following the senior members.
The day the drifting calmed: she discovered that beside her squad, the hollows in her skin slowly settle.
